The franchise got its first victory on the fourth season of “The Voice Australia” when Ellie Drennan, a VFTG AU pick supported by Ava Zinn, was announced the winner. Five more victories followed after Emma Freedman was declared the winner of the fifteenth season of the Australian version of “Dancing with the Stars” and in the process became the first female celebrity to win that show since Birdie Carter won in 2007 with Kathi and Karly Jameson as the winning moderator (the second duo moderator since Ava Zinn and Kymberly Alvaraz in the American version upon Nick Fradiani’s victory on the fourteenth season of “American Idol”).

On The X Factor Australia Tuesday, it was announced the seventh season final consisted of pop duo Jess & Matt, female soloists Louise Adams, male soloist (aka VFTG AU Flex pick) Cyrus Villanueva, all chosen by Ava Zinn, who also hosts the Australian version of VFTG, in addition to the US and the UK adaptations. Jess & Matt, Louise, and Cyrus will be in the Vote for the Girls Hall of Fame, of which will be exported to the American version of Vote for the Girls, of which the United States is the flagship country of the Vote for the Girls franchise.

Also, it was announced Monday on the twenty-first season of the American version of “Dancing with the Stars” upon the unexpected withdrawl of Tamar Braxton, chosen by Julia Passalt, resulting in the disqualification of Ms. Passalt and fellow purple team moderator Lanise White after Kim Zoliac withdrew from the competition. This left Ava and Kymberly as the winning moderator of Dancing with the Stars USA 21 by default, and hence securing Irwin a spot in the Vote for the Girls Hall of Fame in both Australia and the United States.

Vote for the Girls Australia becomes only the third franchise to never had a VFTG Loss–the others are Vota Feminili (Vote for the Girls Italy) and Rosta for Flikorna (Vote for the Girls Sweden).

ABOUT VOTE FOR THE GIRLS USA and VOTE FOR THE GIRLS AUSTRALIA
Vote for the Girls USA was started in May 2010 as a campaign by Aeverine “Ava” Zinn to support voting for Crystal Bowersox following the elimination of Siobhan Magnus. Vote for the Girls is dedicated to supporting all of the female contestants who the producers would love to see win on American Idol, The Voice, Rising Star, and The X Factor. Fans vote en masse for the female contestant(s) that the moderators feel provides the most entertaining performances that go in favor (or on occasion against) what the producers want in a winner and that annoy the voting public. The Australian version started on July 1, 2015 and ended on November 24, 2015.
