MARION, IN (AVA ZINN) – Ava Zinn announced today that her popular American site, Vote for the Girls, will be expanded into a third country.
“With four victories in America of Melanie Amaro, Cassadee Pope, Candice Glover, and Danielle Bradbery and the first British victory with Andrea Begley, I felt the time is right to launch an Australian version of Vote for the Girls,” Zinn said.
Ava Zinn created Vote for the Girls in April 2010 when she launched the Vote for Crystal Bowersox campaign following the elimination of Siobahn Magnus on American Idol on April 28, 2010.
Ava Zinn goes down under in the popular international phenomenon VOTE FOR THE GIRLS AUSTRALIA. This new Internet series, hosted by Zinn, promotes votes for viewers of the Australian versions of The Voice and The X Factor to help women win those competitions by voting out the men.
In a departure from other web sites, Australians will brave moderators Ava Zinn, and two other moderators to be announced – raising the stakes and increasing the pressure to ensure a Vote for the Girls victory. The moderators may have their picks on which woman will win when the competition progresses, but the moderators will have to convince Australians to vote for the ladies and get a Vote for the Girls victory .
VOTE FOR THE GIRLS AUSTRALIA is produced by Aeverine Zinn Holdings. Ava Zinn is the creator and executive producer.
The Australian Version of VFTG will début in July 2014 with the sixth series of the Australian version of THE X FACTOR.
